Vermont Teddy Bear Company – Shelburne, Vermont

The home of the Teddy Bear Company sits on 57 acres outside of Shelburne in Vermont.  Here the Teddy Bears “come to life” to add joy to the person that buys one for themselves or someone special.  In fact, you can make your own Teddy Bear in the Make a Friend for Life Clubhouse, or you can chose one that has already been made and dressed in the Bear Shop.

All the bears that are sold by the company are made at the factory in Vermont.  No internationally made bears here, just those made with love and care by people from the great state of Vermont.

You can take a tour of the factory any day of the week, all year long.  The only days it is closed is Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.  The tours usually take approximately an hour and 15 minutes.

You can either make (or choose from those made) a bear that is from one of these themes: Sports, Hobbies, Occupation, Health & Hope, Animal Lover, Bears with an attitude, Religious Occasions, Apology Bear, Thank You Bear, Birthday Bear, Ge well Bear, New Baby Gifts, Valentine’s Day, and even a Latino Valentine’s Day.  You can also get one for retirement, sympathy, Gay Pride, Presidential candidates or any holiday.  Let your imagination go and choose the one that is right for you!

When you find, or make, the Teddy Bear of your choice you can have it shipped home with the Teddy Express Delivery Service.
